F.A.C.E. to FACE
F.A.C.E. BULLETIN
April 20, 2009
Dear Friends,
We thank each of you who participated in the Tallahassee Blitz, visited legislators, made phone calls, wrote letters, sent email etc. We had 202 supporters and nearly 70 legislative appointments over the course of the two days.
We cannot adequately express our gratitude for everyone's immense effort on the legislative outreach and the Blitz. It has been effective in shoring up legislators who were vacillating or on the fence and putting pressure on those who otherwise would have been against the issue.
The Bill will be on the House and Senate floor this week.
PLEASE CALL YOUR LEGISLATORS FOR THE FINAL PUSH ON HB 453 AND SB 1310. SESSION ENDS ON MAY THE 1ST!
Thank you for Stepping Up For Students,
Michael A. Benjamin
